We all sabotage our lives in one way or another whether it be in our relationships, financially, or our own physical health. Sabotage does not equal one’s intelligence level but it does equal your belief system. You are exactly where you are in life because YOU believe that’s where you deserve to be.
Now you all may think I am getting on my soap box but it’s true. Many of you may be very unhappy with your situation right now for whatever reason. But may I ask, how is it that you got where you are at this very moment? What role do you play in your unhappiness? How can you change your life? The answer lies totally within your belief system. I am a huge believer in motivating myself with affirmations that I post all over my home. As a martial artist and a natural bodybuilder, I have to be mentally strong. I love a great challenge and I tend to enter competitions where some may think I am reaching too far out of my zone. I can’t expect for the judges to believe in me if I don’t believe in myself. If you have tried something repeatedly and failed, then subconsciously you are believing that you will fail before you even try.
Okay enough of that and lets move on to solutions. As you are reading this you may be asking HOW do I succeed? The first step is to realize how you are sabotaging your own success. Recognize that you are responsible for your own successes and failures. Begin shifting your mindset and focus only on the positives. Have you ever been around someone and everything they say is negative? It’s usually a draining conversation and you may feel mentally exhausted after talking with them. Surround yourself around positive people who will be encouraging and positive for your life goals. Start building your confidence by setting specific goals and taking baby steps. Try not to focus on the goal itself but the steps it will take to achieve your goal. Remember that it is the steps you take in life that will ultimately lead to your success.
When you overcome the barriers in life that you place on yourself, the rewards you will gain are unimaginable. You must have a strong belief system and know that YOU are ultimatley responsible for your happiness! Until next time, Train Hard and Eat Healthy!
